Anyone considering getting the new Toyota Supra?

Yep, I have a black Launch Edition on order through the dealership where I work. A Toyota representative couldn't say the exact delivery date (ETA is from May through July).

Not me, except to the driver of a blue GT AWD at work and that's because I know him.

Same size tires front and rear on GT

To me, 225-mm tires (on all 4 corners) seem quite narrow for a 2-ton car. I would consider 255 or wider with properly-sized wheels to match.

Close up look of the Kia Stinger GT undercarriage and drivetrain

Funny, that's my observation too. It seems the use of lighter metal for suspension and chassis components is not in the design agenda.

Been crazy difficult to get safe to drive!

In the video, the extra (partial) turns on the lug nuts are small. The seats on the wheels do compress a bit providing cold-working and, as a side effect, hardening the surface of the seats. If there was coating overspray, the tightening process compressed or removed it. However, those extra...

Autox and tracking folks what helmet are you using?

Is this your first helmet? When it comes to helmet selection, it depends on the shape of your head. You need to physically try them on. Usually, one brand has a similar fit, so a model of a brand should represent how that brand fits on your head. Is there a local speed shop or motorcycle shop...

Been crazy difficult to get safe to drive!

Next time don't fret too much about the centering rings. They're there to aid with wheel installation onto the car. Their absence doesn't pose problem with the wheels being installed correctly on the car; the cone seat on a lugnut does the job of centering the wheel.

Been crazy difficult to get safe to drive!

Are you talking about a centering ring so a wheel with larger hub bore can fit snugly on the hub?

    Kia Stinger Aftermarket Wheel Options

XXR looks good on paper, appearance and specifications wise. I'm not fond of the quality and the hue of the coating. The prices are surely very affordable.

    Kia Stinger Aftermarket Wheel Options

The diameter of the wheel plays a less important aspect as long as the wheel clears the strut and the caliper up front (more room for the rear). The next step is sizing the tire, depending on several aspects, the tire OD can vary as much as an inch or so from the original OD which is just about...

    XForce Catback with Varex Mufflers

In GM K2-generation pickup trucks, there is such a thing as upfitting. It's basically adding an OEM switch (soft switch) and an OEM relay placed in certain port in the fuse box. The switch controls the relay through the canbus. This requires a good knowledge of the canbus structure. I wonder if...

anyone else slip/slide on tar strips in rain with the Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS-02 all-seasons?

My Stinger didn't come with those Bridgestone tires (it has the Michelin Pilot 4). I have no experience with them, but I can imagine the asphalt sealer being slick when wet. Road markers are usually more slick than a typical road surface and they have embedded sand to improve traction and...
