I have just started road racing my Genesis G-70 3.3t sport and realize that I need more traction (rubber on the road). My present set up is Michelin
Pilot Sport 4S, 225/40ZR19 on 8.0X19 wheels for the front and same type Michelin 255/35/ZR19 on 8.5X19 on the rear. Discount tire guy tells me I can go to 235 front and 265 rear on same wheels but will have to go to larger wheels for wider tires. Does any one know what the biggest wheel and tires sizes are that will fit on my car without rubbing. I can't seem to get any info from the factory on this. Also on make of sticker tires.

I'm running the largest wheel you can put on the rear of the stinger an that is a 19x11 50 295 & the front 19x8.5 35 255. I've never had a rubbing issue, you can run a one size larger tire on your stock wheels with no issue. You can go with a 19x8.5 35 245 & a 19x10 42 275, Here's some good tires that your looking for..

Do you know if you can put 40 series tires on with no problem.I have done this before because our sidewall and the tire is too thin.I have 6k on my car and just picked it up from the dealer--recall and the tire has a nail in it.This is 2nd time I have dropped the car at the dealer and picked it up --same tire actually with something in it.I was thinking of--rear only for now---265 or 275 40 19.I have AWD and just do not want it to trigger the TSC or throw the AWD system off.

You could run the 40 series but your MPH will be off quite a bit. The stock tires are 40 in the front & 35 in the rear, mine are 35 front & 30 rear. I went with the PS4S because the outside diameter is very close to the stock tires

I just ordered Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2's for the rear 255/35ZR19. I know the fronts are 225/40ZR19 but they don't make the tire in that size. Next best is 235/35ZR19... this should be fine right?
