I did get a power pack with USB and C ports, and I only have a lowly Elite 2.0.

The “long run” is what concerned me about the Bimmer as I was out of warranty. BMW is rated the most expensive mass production auto to repair by a large margin (Mercedes is second). Genesis has a great warranty.

I do miss the hardtop convertible a bit, but the handling and power are both comparable. The autonomous/safety features are fantastic and a large part of my reason for the purchase. I also am very impressed with the warranty and concierge features.

Which model did you buy?

My wife’s Honda CRV Touring model even has a pipe on each side. 😁 I traded a 328i BMW with a similar configuration for my Genesis. I got used to it.

I think that I may have figured it out. I set the shuffle button to “shuffle”, and I toggled the repeat button to show a folder icon. Apparently this allows one to shuffle within one folder. It has worked so far. I’ll see if it stays as the default when I restart the car.

Thanks for the answer. That’s nuts! My other cars with usb music allowed this - including my wife’s 2017 CR-V. Is there any way around having to listen to my songs in alphabetical order - other than making separate USB drives?

I have mp3 songs in 8 folders on a USB drive. I can’t figure out how to shuffle songs within one folder. Whenever I click shuffle, the songs are played from various folders rather than staying within the folder that I have selected. The multimedia folder is not at all clear about this. Help...

I purchased a G70 AWD 2.0 Elite two weeks ago. Traded a 2012 BMW 3 Series convertible. Very impressed so far.
