What aftermarket exhaust brand are you running in your Stinger?

I'm beginning to wonder about the sound from combining the SSR downpipes and the Magnaflow cat/axle-back!

[VENDOR][FS]: Ultimate Performance HFC Downpipe + Mid Pipe Kit - K8 Stinger Store

I've installed many HFCs on a few cars over the years and have never needed foulers. Does this part create CELs when not using a fouler? And are there any dyno comparisons vs. stock? Thank you!

[VENDOR][FS]: Ultimate Performance HFC Downpipe + Mid Pipe Kit - K8 Stinger Store

I'm confused. Why is a fouler needed if the two cats (the only two I understood had sensors) are still present?

    Texas Stingers Swarm Meet #2

Thanks! I drove to Sealy (south of Houston) for some custom install and tuning at DD Performance a number of years ago on another car. I hope this works out - love road trips!

I'm a long way away and I don't do Facebook, but am considering coming to this event!

Updated info on Kia Stinger LAP3 Protuner

thaworldsbeststinger - what made you select intake and downpipe as your mods? why not tune for a 3.3T with an exhaust, for instance?

If you get a chance, take a peek when she's up on the lift for an oil change. The piping has crazy shapes, diameter changes, etc.

    Stage 2 Pressertech tuning available

You've missed the point. Every dyno is different and conditions change by the hour. The only real way to measure is to take the same individual car in stock (or previous) condition and dyno it, then modify and dyno again. We've seen many, many misleading dyno charts over the years.

    Stage 2 Pressertech tuning available

Without a baseline quote telling us what the car was running BEFORE mods, we have no idea what these numbers mean.

    Email notification?

Mine all go straight into my spam folder. Because I've not figure out how to make a single, summary email instead of one for every post, I've not bothered to put the address in my Contacts so they'd show up in my actual in-box. LOL

Who plans on upgrading the factory intercooler?

Strong believer in this mod if the factory one is as limited as some say. This can be a huge performance improvement, adding to any other mod.

First look at the Stillen Intake System

I doubt they have the production capacity of K&N, though. Snazzing that box up is a real opportunity they're missing.

First look at the Stillen Intake System

It needs more flash, though. Painted name or something?? LOL

First look at the Stillen Intake System

Normally, a box would use only the "cooler" air coming from outside the engine bay. In the Stinger's case, there are "slots" on each side of the front grill that allow air to enter the stock air intake boxes. And those boxes are sealed to keep out the "hotter" air in the engine bay. A shield...

SCCA Autocross class for GT2 RWD

Would they put the RWD and AWD in separate classes?

First look at the Stillen Intake System

Again, looks like shielding and not a box. They have numbers for the intake and they have numbers for the exhaust. I hope they have numbers for the combination, as well.

    Catback vs Muffler deletes

I think you need to decide what it is you want out of your exhaust: performance? sound? looks? The OEM exhaust is a mess of crimped and odd shaped sections put there to make plenty of clearance so there would be no knocking or other noise/issues. There seems to be "easy" power to be had and...
