New member with a question

I am doing this inquiry for my daughter who purchased her G70 turbo new in 2020 or 2021. I have a warranty question I hope someone might be able to answer. She has both the standard manufacturers warranty and a manufacturers extended warranty purchase from the dealer with the car. She accidentally spilled a drink in the drivers seat and is now having intermittent electrical problems. Initially we did everything we could to mitigate the spill, i.e. wet vac, fans, etc. but it persists. She took it to the dealership and they denied the claim under warranty saying it doesn't covers spills causing corrosion in the connectors. Does anyone here have any thoughts on this?

Welcome, Yes, the warranty does not cover spillages or anything that is caused by the owner.

Thanks. That's what we thought but wanted an outside opinion that they weren't blowing smoke.
